Manager of Narva United Alexandr Dmitriyev shared some details of preparations to upcoming game with Gargzdu Pramogos on Matchday 5 of Baltic Futsal League and admitted that trip to Gargzdai will be the toughest in the season.
Preparation to the game with Gargzdu Pramogos is underway in a usual way. Also the playoff of Estonian championship begins this Friday so all of our thoughts about it by now. Main details of upcoming game with Gargzdu Pramogos will be discussed on Saturday and Sunday during our long trip to Gargzdai.
We scouted our opponents, we watch every Baltic Futsal League game, and we know that Lithuanians are deserved to be on higher place in standings – this team could be in top-5 by the end of the tournament. Our coaching staff had studied some tactical details of every BFL game they played and of some games of Lithuanian championship which we have at our disposal.
Unfortunately we have some injured players: Vitaly Kutuzov is out with rupture of collateral ligaments, Sergey Leontovich is in a plaster cast for a month and it’s still not known if he could play again this season. Also we have some minor injuries which make participation of some players questionable but anyway our roster will be strong enough to fight for the win in Gargzdai.
As soon as we had got Baltic Futsal League fixtures we knew that trip to Gargzdai will be the toughest in the season – we are amateurs, so our road from Narva to Gargzdai will take about 9,5 hours by bus. It’s quite far trip for us, especially after the playoff game of Estonian championship, it’s important for our guys to survive the physical exertions and such a long trip.
