Pregame speech: Head coach of TFK Rēzekne Vitalijs Voskans

Head coach of TFK Rēzekne Vitalijs Voskans  about preparations for upcoming game with FC Stalitsa on the Matchday 4 of the Baltic Futsal League.

The date of the game with “Stalitsa” happened to be not comfortable for us. January 19th we will have important game in Latvian championship against FC Petrow. The result of it will determine our opponent in quarterfinal in the playoffs.

Our situation has been complicated with the injuries of our three leaders: Dmitry Kostanenko, Vitalijs Aguls and Arturs Broks got hurt in the previous game with FK RABA. Dmitry and Artur are questionable for Friday’s game and Vitalijs is out until the end of the season with a broken ankle. Moreover, our experienced goalkeeper Aigars Bondars is suspended because of red card.

Also Guntars Silagailis, Antons Petrovs, Petr Ivenkov will miss game in Minsk because of their main job. So much of the burden will fall on two young players from Ukraine – Maksim Loginov and Vladislav Andruschenko and on recovered after a broken ankle injury Egils Jegorovs. Our progressive 16-19 years old players will fill the lineup.

Minimum goal for the game is to avoid injuries before the important game in Latvian championship and treat fans we play for, with a decent and entertaining play.
