International tournament Baltic Futsal Cup took place in Narva, Estonia on 28 and 29 September.
The winner of the men’s tournament was FK Vytis from Kaunas, Lithuania. Rafael Rodriguez was named the team’s best player.
Silver medals were won by “wolves ” from St. Petersburg” AGIO ” (Russia), the best player of the team was Pavel Fitsev.
The top three winners of the men’s tournament included FC Cosmos (Tallinn, Estonia), in which Yury Amosov was voted the best player.
Latvian RSU/BAO from Dobele finished fourth in the standings. The goalkeeper Ralph Olshevskis showed himself best of all.
In FC Narva United, which took the fifth place, the best was a goalkeeper Nikolay Pulkkinen.
The most productive player of the men’s tournament was Alexander Katane from “AGIO”. «The best player» award was given to FK Vytis representative Davidas Reimaris. The best goalkeeper was Vadim Belyakov, FC Cosmos. And the best coach of the men’s teams was recognized Luciano Mistura, a mentor of winners.
The gold medals of the women’s tournament were won by the girls from CS Kalininskiy (St. Petersburg, Russia). Olga Kuznetsova was the best in the Russian team. The second place was taken by Latvian athletes from FC PAE United, the best of which was Victoria Nazarova.
Winners of bronze awards of the tournament became girls from sports school of MTZ (Belarus). The best player of the team from Minsk was recognized Lubov Gomazova.
FC PAE United and CS Kalininskiy shared individual awards equally ; the best goalkeeper was Marina Karzhetskaya, top scorer – Anastasia Andreeva from PAE. The most useful player was Alexandra Purysheva from СS Kalininskiy, and the coach of St. Petersburg team Oleg Lvov was recognized as the best one of the women’s tournament.
