Long-awaited FIFA Futsal World Cup finally started last Sunday, four games in the groups A and B were played. Favorites of the group A Kazakhstan defeated Costa Rica with the score 6:1, and hosts of the tournament, Lithuania, couldn’t hold a comfortable draw against Venezuela and conceded a decisive goal in the final minutes – 1:2. Russia (RFU) hasn’t faced any resistance from Egyptians by beating them 9:0. Late goal helped Guatemala to gain a three points against Uzbekistan (5:4). Central American team was a step away from the biggest disappointment, they were ahead 4:1 in the starting minutes of the second half but allowed Uzbekistan to even the score. Late equalizer by Alan Aguilar saved the game for Guatemala.
