MFC Stolitsa, MFC AGIO FM and FK Viytis are the leaders after two rounds of  Baltic Futsal League

The second round ended In the opening season of Baltic Futsal League. As a result three teams at a time scored six points and take the leading positions in the standings.

In the opening match of the tour  FK Vytis and Latvian TFK Rezekne met at Jonavos Arena in Jonava, Lithuania. “Lithuanian knights” showed a confident game and won a big victory with the score 5:1. Albert Voskunovich and Lucas Sendzhikas scored a double, author of one more goal was Vladimir Derendyaev. Andrey Ilyin scored the only goal for TFK Rezekne. The best player of the match was recognized Albert Voskunovich. We’ll note that a month ago the Brazilian Legionnaires left the club and recently the team was headed by the Ukrainian specialist Kirill Krasiy.

A day later in St. Petersburg the local AGIO-FM outplayed greatly Estonian FC Narva United – 10:3. The teams are familiar with each other and have met more than once on the parquet. In this match “wolves’’ were strengthened by  a captain Anatoliy Tymoshchuk, but FC Narva United was “drained” by the absence of one of the leaders Alexander Mironov and head coach Mikhail Romanov. From the first minutes the hosts took the initiative in their hands, and players from Narva had to catch luck on the counterattack. As part of the winners Pavel Fitsev scored a double, Andrey Andreev, Leonid Egorov, Roman Ananyev, Kirill Osinovsky, Andrey Pavlov scored once, Anatoliy Tymoshchuk also opened his scoring account in  BFL.  That evening at FC Narva United  Sergey Shilkov, Vitaliy Kutuzov, Stanislav Bystrov scored; and Eduard Bader scored an own goal. Petersburger Andrey Pavlov was named the best player of the match.

For Gargzdu Pramogos the match against FC Petrow was very difficult. At the beginning of the first half host goalkeeper Ernestas Grudis was removed from the sportsground, and his place in the goal was taken by a field player Karolis Urbaitis. Throughout the match the teams fought equally and everyone could win. However, in the last few minutes  the Latvian team was able to snatch a victory, Deividas Lukoshius scored an own goal. The final score is 4: 3 in favor of FC Petrow. As a part of Gargzdu Pramogos Valdas Potsevichus scored a double, Mantas Perepliotovas scored another goal, The Latvians authors scored goals were Maxim Sen’ (2) and German Matyushenko. This evening the best on the parquet was Matyushenko.

The final meeting of the tour took place in Tallinn, where FC Cosmos played the toughest match against the champion of Belarus, a member of the elite round of the Champions League, Minsk Stolitsa. Despite the busy schedule, the Belarusian team arrived in the main squad and absolutely spared no effort to win. The final score of the meeting was 10: 2 in favor of the guests. As a part of  FC Cosmos both goals were on account of Maxim Alekseev, at Stolitsa Mikhail Gritsyna scored a poker, Ruslan Lazyuk scored a double, Beto, Nikolay Gritsyna, Taras Korolishin and goalkeeper Dmitry Polyakov scored once. MVP of the match was Mikhail Gritsyna, he also leads the list of goal scorers with seven goals in two games.

 

Thus after two major victories Minsk Stolitsa leads the standings (six points, +14), AGIO FM is in second place (six points, +9), FK Vytis closes the top three ( six points, +7)
